Directions

Brief Directions:

The village of Bishop Wilton can be approached from the north from the A166 via a signposted turning at the bottom of Garrowby Hill – a right turn from the direction of Stamford Bridge or a left turn from the direction of Fridaythorpe. After that continue straight through the village until the signs for the Show field on the right are spotted.

From the south and the A1079 proceed through Pocklington (see the map above) and take the road to the north to Great Givendale but turn left where signposted to Bishop Wilton. At Meltonby there is a signposted right turn at a T junction to Bishop Wilton. Continue until the signs for the Show field on the left are spotted.

Please Note:

The road to the Show field from the Pocklington direction may be closed between 9.30am and 10.30am for the Yorkshire Wolds Half Marathon and Fun Run.

Follow The Signs

Access to the field on the day of the Show will be specially signposted for Horse Jumping entrants, Trade Stands, Craft Fair stall owners, Marathon runners and visitors. Parking attendants will also be on the road outside the field to assist drivers.
